China Association of Pharmaceutical Commerce (CAPC)
is a nationwide social economic organization , and is an aggregate
corporation which was established in 1989 and authorized by the
Ministry of Civil Affairs. There are nearly 3 hundred mumber enterprises
in CAPC now, and the chairman is Fu Ming zhong.
Serving as an assistant and adviser of the government department
in charge of pharmaceutical, CAPC plays an active role as a bridge
and tie between the government and the enterprises. Its purposes
are to serve the pharmaceutical production and circulation, satisfy
the needs of people's healthcare, prevention and cure of diseases,
scientific research and education as best as one can and make greater
contributions to the socialism modernization.
The main tasks of CAPC are:
1. To propose to the government departments regarding development,
and important policies and regulations of the pharmaceutical industry
on the basis of investigation and research.
2. To research market trends to provide guidance for the commodity
trade; to promote the lateral ties, to offer pharmaceutical commercial
enterprises all kinds of services, and to give assistance to enterprises
in settling all kinds of problems which may arise in operation.
3. To develop coordination between member enterprises, between industry
and commerce, between commerce and commerce, and between commerce
and medical institutions; to provide consulting services; and to
put forth to the government departments proposals regarding market
circulation and price control, etc.
4. To collect and categorize the basic material in respects of statistics,
financial affairs and price, etc. as well as to solicit the feedback
of the information; to strengthen market study and forecast; and
to swap information between various countries and various industry.
5. To urge the enterprises of the industry to implement "The
Drug Administration Law of the P.R.China" and "The Quality
Control Standards for Pharmaceutical Commodities"; and to recommend
advanced quality-control enterprises to government departments.
6. To accelerate the reform within the pharmaceutical commercial
enterprises', to make arrangements for the enterprises to formulate
service standards, rules and measures; to spread scientific management
techniques and means; and to exchange experience in management and
reform.
7. To conduct various forms of lectures and training courses concerning
professional teachnique and business management, etc; and to develop
staff's, education to enhance the quality of the employees.
8. To organize research into such problems as wage, labour insurance,
welfare and titles for technical personnel; and to report the state
of affairs departments in charge and make proposals.
9. To develop actively international communication, and organize
exchange with forecgn counterparts.
10. To undertake relevant matters entrusted by the government department
in charge of pharmaceuticals issues.
The administrative bodies of CAPC consist of secretariate, information
department and enterprise management department, etc.
